Are you a ProDiver user that spends a lot of time changing QuickViews in order to save each view as a different PDF report to send to your staff? Time consuming, right? Newsflash — you can save time (and frustration) by using The Diver Solution's Cascade Print feature.

WHAT IS CASCADE PRINTING? Cascade Print cycles through values in a parent Dive window relative to the child Dive window(s). For example, if you have a report that contains Salesperson and Customer, Cascade Print will print the output for all possible Salesperson/Customer combinations — in batch mode, one per page. In the Cascade Print dialog box you can use the QuickView and Windows section to choose which values you want to cycle through. You can also elect to save to PDF files in order to send customized PDF reports to your staff.

HOW DO I DO THIS?

1) Select File > Cascade Print
2) In the resulting dialog box, move each QuickView you've been changing from the Available to Selected list
3) Check the 'Save to PDF' box
4) Browse to where you want to share the saved files
5) Type in a PDF Filename Prefix - for example "Customers"
6) Click 'OK' and go grab a cup of Java!

Diver will iterate through each value in the QuickView and create the PDF files for you. Simple. Easy. Done!
